After winning the brutal Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen returns to her district hoping for a peaceful future. But Katniss starts to hear rumours of a deadly rebellion against the Capitol - a rebellion that she and Peeta have helped to create.
The Hunger Games are over. Katniss and Peeta survived and became victors. The first ever to have two. So with the Quarter Quell approching why is Katniss being blamed for a possible uprising in other districts and what does her mockingjay badge mean to others.
i LOVED this book. I flew through it. Seriously.
It liked the fast pace, the drama the entails and the tug of war with Gale and Katniss and Peeta. The hardness that has come over the people who survived the games, who have to go through all the districts and be paraded about symbolising what? Success?
I enjoyed reading about the Quater Quell and loved the fact that Katniss was thrown back into the arena again. i loved the concept of a clock and how suddenly everything was a stake, more so than before. Only one can really survive this time and with old victors being thrown in, surely Peeta and Katniss had the upper hand with being young. But still. It was tough and full of action. Fenwick was bloody great. I realy didn't have a clue they were all siding with Katniss and being there to protect both her and Peeta ready to be broken out of the arena by rebels. Those uprising against the capitol and being taken to district 13, it really did exist.
Why did i wait so long to read these??
