London dances to the tune of Gorsky’s billions. The most enigmatic of oligarchs, Gorsky desires and gets the best of everything and now he has his sights set on Natalia. That she is already married is an inconvenient detail.
Nick works in a shabby-chic bookshop. When Gorsky approaches him with the commission of a lifetime, Nick suddenly gains access to the world of the wealthy and the beautiful. But this privilege comes at a price and Nick finds his new life suddenly fraught with danger...
I picked up this book because the cover was striking. It was red. I picked up another red book at the time and figured it seemed interesting. Probably something that went over my head but I knew i'd ger around to it sooner or later.
Well this book is pretty good. It's a spin on the Great Gatsby and i do love that book. We meet Nick, who works in a book shop an is commissioned to create the best library for Gorsky that money can buy. It's a tale of russian billionaires and a love not forgotten over the years.
I quite liked it but at times it felt like it dragged to me. But thats probably more down to me than the actual book.
